Due to our rapid growth and ambitious plans to scale, we are currently looking for an experienced and astute management accountant (qualified or nearly qualified) to support the growth of our finance function and to provide detailed analysis of the financial performance of the business and campaigns.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Management Accountant is responsible for managing the finance function, both day-to-day processes through to month end closure. You will gain in-depth exposure across the business, working closing with the COO, who is an experienced accountant.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and must have previous experience of working in a commercially focused finance role for a fast growing SME B2B business, ideally within the marketing, advertising or recruitment sector.

This is a full time permanent position based in our Dublin Office (Currently Remote Working)

The Key Deliverables

Deliver properly prepared monthly management packs with KPI’s within a defined timeframe
Deliver updated projections to year-end so that any deviations are flagged and communicated
Deliver regular reporting and analysis of business areas including robust variance analysis
Deliver efficient and accurate processing of all tax and statutory returns/requirements

The Qualifications & Experience

Have 3+ years’ experience in a similar finance function, preferably healthcare/recruitment

Have membership of a professional accountancy body e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA

Have excellent organisation skills: ability to plan and organise work efficiently and effectively

Have intermediate or advanced Excel skills
Have experience in process improvements (preferably)
Have strong negotiating and influencing skills at various levels with an organisation
Have excellent Microsoft Office skills 2

Have experience of month end close, functional reporting and preparation of statutory accounts and/or branch reporting experience
